Valentine Iheasirim is a vastly experienced Oil & Gas professional with over 26 years practical experience. He started his career with Sedco Forex Schlumberger in 1996, where he excelled in various capacities in Nigeria, Angola, North Sea UK and France. His rig operating experience spans the spectrum of Swamp Drilling Rigs, Tender Assit Rigs, Jackup Rigs and Semi-Submersible Rigs.

Valentine further join Royal Dutch Shell (SPDC) in 2005 where he held various positions as a Drilling Engineer, Snr Well Engineer, Snr Concept Well Engineer where he designed and drilled deep oil & gas wells which immensely contributed to the nation’s power projects.

Prior to joining OESL in 2011, he was Head HSSE & SP Wells and UIG Wells Regional HSE Manager Royal Dutch Shell – SPDC and Gulf of Guinea (Cameroon, Gabon and Nigeria).

Valentine is a graduate of the Federal Universities of Technology (FUTO) with a degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering.

A Drilling Engineer and an alumnus of Cambridge Judge Business School UK.

He serves on the board of other companies and a member of Institute of Directors Nigeria (IOD).
