Nnamdi has gathered over 20 years' experience in the oil and gas drilling industry covering land, swamp, shallow and deep offshore terrains. He had a stint with Chevron Nigeria Limited as a drilling engineer trainee before proceeding to work as a field engineer with Halliburton in West and Central Africa, Middle East, and USA.

He rapidly moved up the field ranks to becoming Principal Technical Professional in 2011. He joined Oando Energy Services in 2012 as a Senior Operations Engineer on a fast-track rig management program and was appointed Assistant Manager of the OES Respect swamp rig in 2013.

Since then, he has served as Rig Manager OES Respect, Assistant Rig Manager ENSCO/Valaris DS-10 (a 7th generation drillship), Projects and Performance Manager. He is currently the General Manager, Operations of OES Energy Serviced Ltd.

Nnamdi has vast experience in field service delivery, rig operations management, project and performance management, shipyard rig build and refurbishment. He has supported various company projects including the 15K upgrade of the OES Integrity rig, 15 years life enhancement refurbishment of the OES Respect rig in Orange, Texas USA, new build reactivation of the Valaris DS-10 drillship in South Korea and Singapore and many more.

He is a 2000 graduate of Mechanical Engineering from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is also a recipient of 2011 Halliburton Maximized Value-added Performance (MVP) award and 2014 Oando Plc GCEO Awards.
