A seasoned oilfield professional who has worked in various capacities with Michelin Nigeria Ltd, Sedco-Forex Schlumberger, Transocean and Oando Plc. Michael started his career in Michelin Nigeria Ltd as a Management Trainee in 1991.

He left Michelin as a Specific Machines Coordinator in 1996 and joined the Sedco Forex Schlumberger Supervisory Development Program. He worked offshore in various maintenance supervisory positions in both Sedco Forex and Transocean until he joined Oando Energy Services as Assistant Technical Services Manager in 2010.

He managed the refurbishment of the OES Respect Swamp Drilling Rig from 2011 until 2012 and was promoted to the position of Technical Services Manager. He was appointed General Manager-Port Harcourt Base in October 2022.

Michael is a 1988 graduate of Electrical Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt and has 26years practical work experience in the oil and gas industry. He has attended numerous training courses both within and outside Nigeria
