Adegboyega is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and alumni member of the UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE Business School (Cambridge Judge Business School) Advanced Leadership Programme. He has over 23 years of qualitative hands on experience in financial and strategic management; organizational restructuring and business turnaround. He is an enterprising professional with sound organizational skills.

He trained with Deloitte & Touché (a Professional firm of Chartered Accountants) before moving over to First City Group as Head, Accounts & Operations.

Prior to joining Oando Plc as the Chief Financial Officer of Oando Energy Services Limited (the flagship Oil & Gas Servicing Company) in November 2010, Adegboyega, (a Schlumberger President Gold Award Winner) was at various times and countries the Financial Controller for various business segments of Schlumberger Oilfield Services.

Adegboyega is a 1992 graduate of Agricultural Economics from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife and also has a MBA from ITTL-DRC & University, Phoenix, AZ, USA.
